It’s a sad and unfortunately frequent occurrence that young people go off and shoot people at a school, the mall, churches, or other public places. This problem cannot be solved by gun control because it’s not a gun problem – it’s a mental health problem. This website’s purpose is to provide a source of support for young gun owners in the form of their best friend.  Every child has a best friend who knows them the most and will probably be the first to report when your child’s behavior has taken a negative turn.  The sole mission of this site is to show young people that they can make a GunPact with their best friend who promises to take steps to prevent them from actions that could turn deadly for themselves or innocent people. The GunPact is just a promise between best friends if they see their friend’s behavior making a negative turn, the best friend will take steps to help. The section called Warning Signs and Activating the GunPact provides advice to the best friend, parents, and the community on identifying negative characteristics, and steps that should be taken before a tragedy occurs.
